Halloween Parade

International Dinner

Every year, students at Manhattan East dress up in Halloween costumes and play various games such as a "mummy" relay race, a "witch's brew" treasure hunt, a "pumpkin" relay, and "pin the eye on the monster." It's a lot of fun to participate in some friendly competition and see the students' creativity show through in their costumes.

The Manhattan East community consists of students, staff, and families with a wide variety of cultural backgrounds, and each year we get the opportunity to share, experience, and appreciate all those wonderful cultures through food at our International Dinner. Families are welcome to make a dish to donate to the dinner, or just come and enjoy an evening of wonderful food and socializing.

Talent Show

Following the International Dinner, families are invited to watch our many talented students participate in the annual Talent Show. Singing, dancing, musical performances, comedy and magic are all showcased.

School Spirit Week

The yearbook club organizes a school spirit week every year in October. Some favorite themes have been Pajama Day, Formal Day, Twin Day, Nerd Day, and Cultural Day, just to name a few. It's a lot of fun and a great way to build school spirit.
